TODAY’S PRAYER POINTS BY PASTOR MIKE PRAH
Begin with praising the name of the Lord. God instructs us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise.
Today’s prayer is focused on God’s promises from Jeremiah 29:11-24.
“12 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly … 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes.” Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NLT+GN)
Pray these prayer points over your life according to the above scripture.
1. ASK GOD TO REVEAL & RELEASE THOSE GOOD PLANS HE HAS FOR YOU IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good” (vs. 12a)
2. PRAY FOR A BRIGHT & PROSPEROUS FUTURE
“They are … plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster” (vs. 12b)
3. PRAY FOR EMOTIONAL HEALTH
“They are … plans to bring you hope” (vs. 12c)
4. PRAY FOR GOD’S OVERWHELMING PRESENCE
“If you look for me wholeheartedly … I will be found by you,” says the Lord” (vs.14a)
5. PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE & PROTECTION
“I will end your captivity, says the Lord” (vs. 14b)
6. PRAY FOR RESTORATION & VICTORY
“I will … restore your fortunes, says the Lord” (vs. 14c)
Pray specifically for restoration & victory in your health, finances, relationships, work and in every area of your life.
7. PRAY FOR THE CHURCH
Jesus said: “I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it” (Matthew 16:18, NLT)
Pray for the Church specifically as follows:
(i). Pray that God will pour afresh His spirit upon His Church and that we experience God’s great power
(ii). Pray that God will infuse us with a passion for evangelism. That we are inspired to share Jesus to capture a lost world for Him
(iii). Pray for growth in our numbers to expand God’s Kingdom and pray against anything that will divide our congregation
(iv). Pray that God will bless our church family financially that we will remain faithful to give generously so the financial needs of our Church are met for the glory of God
(v). Pray that our church would receive God’s direction and vision. That the congregation gets nourished from the teaching of His Word
(vi). Pray for the Pastor & his family and the congregation that we will have the strength and endurance to serve by the power of the Holy Spirit
8. PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN & DESCENDANTS
“I will pour out my Spirit into your children and my blessing on your descendants.Your children will grow like a tree … beside streams of water.” Isaiah 44:3-4 (NCV)
(b). Pray for God’s covering on your children for the school season
(c). Pray for those seeking to have children
9. PERSONAL PRAYER REQUESTS, INTERCESSION & THANKSGIVING
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
(i). Present your specific personal prayer requests to God
(ii). Ask God to bless your biological family, your church family, your pastor & church volunteers, your friends and others in need.
(iii). Close with thanksgiving for all God has done.
